The Taste of Elegance, a culinary competition which is presented by the Minnesota Pork Board, showcases the versatility of pork and the creativity of chefs. In 2014 Mark, competed and took the Superior Chef award. In 2015, he competed again and won the People’s Choice award and First Place overall. Mark’s signature dish was a smoky grilled capped steak, fennel sweet potato hash with a trio of pork and a maple bourbon demi-glace. For more information, click on the link below.
This year Mark was invited to be one of the judges at the competition, which took place on January 18, 2016 at the Hilton Hotel in downtown Minneapolis.
